It all started back in 2016, when our founder Sarah was a student at Skidmore College, doing research about why small restaurants were struggling on social media. Spoiler alert: most didn’t have time, budget, or strategy. That research led to a business, and LocalMarke LLC was born. Fast forward through six years in the auto industry, where Sarah learned everything there is to know about data, branding, and everything digital. In 2023, she relaunched as Wave Marketing Co., a modern agency built for brands that want to grow, stand out, and actually use data to build their brand and reach their goals. We're based in Niskayuna, NY, with clients all across Upstate New York and Sarasota, Florida. We’ve helped over 100+ businesses get clear conversion-driven marketing and increase revenue.

Meet Sarah! Sarah is from Niskayuna and a Skidmore College graduate that launched her marketing company in 2016 during college and revived it in April 2023. With over a decade of experience in the marketing industry, she previously served as the lead digital strategist at a billion-dollar company. Sarah is responsible for sales, daily operations, and overseeing all client accounts. Her true passion lies in data analysis to determine the ROI of marketing strategies. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, hiking, walking, and especially traveling, especially to Florida with her husband.

Meet Chrissy! A New York-based artist and designer, Chrissy holds a BFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford, with a minor in Visual Communication Design and Art History. She has a passion for helping brands find their visual voice through thoughtful, creative design. When she's not at her desk, you'll find her tending to her garden, cuddling her cat Salami, crafting, decorating, and curating the perfect party playlist.
